It’s not just a vacation home – it’s a piece of Trancoso’s soul. It comes from a laid-back, nature-loving Carioca – a diver, fisherman, and adventurer who landed here back in the 70s and found his paradise – and from a fast-paced woman from São Paulo who arrived years later, just as in love with the simple life and close connection to nature that Trancoso offers. Together, they share their passion and way of life with guests.

The extensive garden is full of history, everything was planted to create a home... and this garden is full of life: crabs occasionally emerge from their burrows, wild ducks live in the lagoon and sunbathe in the garden in the morning, chickens pecking here and there, different birds singing, and some monkeys that appear from time to time (suggestion: don't feed them).

The house, built in the mid-'90s, was designed to take advantage of each season's best, letting nature and sunlight in. It has a rustic look but offers comfort and practicality. Try lying in the hammock and slowing down.
